Summary
Join the Nomic Foundation, a non-profit advancing the Ethereum ecosystem, as their new Talent Acquisition Lead. This fully remote role (UTC+2 to UTC-4 time zones) requires a mission-driven, analytical individual with experience in full-cycle technical recruiting, people management, and process building. You will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and closing top global engineering talent, optimizing recruiting processes, and managing a small People team. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally in early-stage startups, along with 2+ years of people management experience. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and experience in remote and asynchronous environments are crucial. In addition to recruiting, you will contribute to People Operations, including policy development, team engagement, and employer branding. Requirements
- 10 years of experience in technical recruiting, ideally at early-stage, engineering-focused startups
- 2+ years of people management experience, managing recruiters and coordinators
- Strong communication skills
- Proven track record sourcing and hiring for a variety of engineering roles
- Experience driving hiring strategy and using data to guide your decisions
- Strong background in talent operations and process-building
- Worked in fully remote and async environments
- Comfortable hiring across time zones and cultures
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle technical recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing top global engineering talent
- Building and optimizing recruiting processes, hiring metrics, and talent strategy in partnership with leadership
- Managing a small People team (2 people)
- Working with Leadership to set or adjust policies and processes
- Running culture/feedback surveys, supporting culture and team health
- Oversee the execution of the team off-sites (twice a year)
- Championing and nurturing our remote-first culture
