Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of People & Culture to forecast future talent needs, analyze skill gaps in our freelancer network, and execute quarterly talent planning with business groups to ensure our pipeline has the right talent at all times
- Manage the full freelancer lifecycle—from attracting top talent to onboarding, facilitating contract updates, offboarding, and maintaining engagement with freelancers post-project
- Be the go-to resource for freelancers, managing communications on Slack and Worksuite, answering questions, and ensuring they feel supported
- Build a recruitment strategy to grow a diverse, skilled, and connected freelancer network
- Design and implement engagement initiatives, like newsletters or community hubs, to keep freelancers motivated and excited about working with us
- Develop documentation (i.e., checklists, SOPs, templates) and optimize processes for onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and system access setup, ensuring a seamless freelancer experience with a 48-hour activation turnaround
- Own the Creative Collective Hub database with accurate availability, compliance documentation, contract details and utilization insights, leveraging tools like Worksuite and Airtable
- Monitor and track freelance budgets, prepare reports on spend, timesheets, and resource allocation, and partner with People Ops and Engagement teams on resource planning
- Conduct daily audits of active projects in SSRM/Airtable to flag resource imbalances, ensure timesheet accuracy, and identify operational bottlenecks
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline contractor processes, enhance workflows, and create documentation of best practices for ongoing improvements
Preferred Qualifications
Tech expertise: Familiarity with platforms like Airtable, Basecamp, or Worksuite is a huge advantage (though not required). As long as you’re willing to learn, we can teach you!
