Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in mobile development with both Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) platforms
- Hands-on experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM)
- Prior experience as a team lead or tech lead in mobile engineering teams, ideally in product-centric or startup environments
- Deep understanding of networking, mobile debugging, performance profiling, and troubleshooting real-world app issues
- Knowledge and usage of tools like Firebase, Sentry, Charles Proxy, Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler, and equivalent monitoring/logging systems
- Strong grasp of app architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM, Clean Architecture) and asynchronous programming (coroutines, Rx, Combine)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration systems (e.g. Bitrise, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Clear communicator with the ability to write and speak effectively in English
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of mobile engineers working across Android, iOS, and cross-platform stacks (e.g. Flutter, React Native, or Kotlin Multiplatform)
- Own mobile app architecture and quality, ensuring code maintainability and performance across devices and platforms
- Guide the team through technical decision-making, design reviews, code reviews, and best practices adoption
- Proactively monitor and resolve app reliability issues such as: Network latency or API failures Bluetooth or cloud-based printing problems Performance bottlenecks and crash reports
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver features from concept to release
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and app store deployment processes
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to support team productivity and app scalability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tablets running Android/IOS, especially in kiosk or point-of-sale environments
- Experience handling peripheral integrations (e.g. receipt printers, barcode scanners)
- Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards, and internationalization
