Join Bosch Rexroth as a Sales Representative for Compu-Spread, focusing on selling and promoting advanced hydraulic and electronic spreader control systems in the North American snow and ice market. This remote position, supporting NY, NJ, and PA, requires maintaining and supporting a dealer network, working directly with end-users, conducting service calls and training, and developing regional sales plans. You will also participate in budget development, expand the dealer network, identify sales potential, prepare proposals, and travel extensively within the territory. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in electronic and/or hydraulic systems, direct experience developing a dealer base, and strong knowledge of heavy trucks and mobile hydraulic equipment. A Fluid Power Technology or Electrical/Electronic Technology diploma/degree is required.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in electronic and/or hydraulic systems
- Strong working knowledge of heavy trucks, and/or mobile hydraulic equipment
- Good mechanical aptitude, ability to work with service personnel in trouble shooting system problems
- Completed Fluid Power Technology (or equivalent) and/or Electrical/Electronic Technology (or equivalent) Diploma or Degree
- Effective consultative selling, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High customer service orientation
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to travel 40 β 60% within the territory
Responsibilities
- Focus your energy and drive to selling and promoting the industryβs most advanced hydraulic and electronic spreader control systems for the North America snow and ice market
- Maintain and directly supports an active network of dealers, as well as works directly with end users in the specification of Compu-Spread electronic and hydraulic systems
- Conduct service calls to support dealer service personnel
- Conduct training courses for end users and dealers
- Conduct outgoing calls and visits in the development and expansion of territory market share
- Provide leadership in the territory through development and implementation of regional sales plans consistent with the strategic plan for the Business Unit
- Participate in the development of the annual regional budget, and provides monthly planning forecasts for the territory
- Expand and develop a strong dealer network in the territory
- Identify major end user sales potential and strategic dealer development opportunities
- Prepares quotation and bid proposals as required
- Ability to travel and make sales and support calls to customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in the development of a dealer base is strong asset
- SAP Knowledge or experience an asset
