Working directly with internal stakeholders, you will define and deliver technical solution benefits, create compelling sales materials, and contribute to marketing programs. This contract role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans. You will conduct competitive analysis and ensure alignment across sales, marketing, and technical functions. The position offers a remote or hybrid option.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product marketing, cloud solutions, or a related field
  • Proven track record of working with customers to understand and translate their cloud technology needs into actionable outcomes
  • Strong experience synthesizing data from multiple sources and developing clear, portfolio-level messaging
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, marketing, and sales teams
  • Technical knowledge of cloud computing services, including AWS offerings (e.g., Analytics, Compute, Databases, Security)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a part-time contractor capacity

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver technical solution benefits, positioning, and expertise to sales representatives and solution engineering teams, ensuring all messaging highlights AWS as the foundational cloud platform
  • Develop product and solution messaging specific to AWS service offerings, tailoring content by buyer persona, and crafting strategies to overcome competitive objections
  • Create and refine sales materials—including scripts, presentations, and demonstration outlines—that highlight the unique advantages of AWS-based solutions. Ensure internal sales teams and channel partners can confidently communicate these benefits
  • Contribute to marketing programs, campaigns, and collateral, incorporating AWS best practices to drive demand and differentiate our services in a crowded marketplace. This includes customer stories and case studies
  • Employ strong communication and emotional intelligence skills to gather input from stakeholders, manage expectations across teams, and influence decision-making in a dynamic organizational environment
  • Translate abstract AWS-centric concepts into actionable go-to-market plans, from initial idea to execution-ready deliverables
  • Develop comprehensive GTM collateral that emphasizes our AWS expertise, ensuring organizational readiness and alignment across sales, marketing, and technical functions
  • Continuously research the competitive landscape, maintaining up-to-date comparisons and evaluations of other AWS-focused consultancies to inform messaging and positioning strategies
