Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent educational qualification
- 8 to 10 years of total experience in the industry, and 5+ years of experience in technical program management of complex and large programs spanning multiple cross functional teams
- Deep understanding of the product development process, the product lifecycle, and technical program management
- Experience with project management tools like Atlassian suite, Microsoft Project Plan, Smart sheets or equivalent
- Experience in Agile SCRUM framework and understanding of SAFe concepts
- Experience in working cross-functionally with product management, user experience, customer success, customer support, operations teams and any cross-functional partners (e.g. sales, marketing, legal etc.) within the company
- Experience with program and project governance concepts and tools for budgeting, vendor management, compliance and metrics
- You must be self-driven, flexible with working with counterparts in other geographies, and adaptable
Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional partners across engineering, product, Design and platform teams to gather requirements and dependencies, drive estimation and schedule discussions with engineering and establish the program plan
- Along with engineering, work closely with stakeholders in other teams and departments including site reliability engineering, user experience, customer support, customer success and leadership teams if required for program planning
- Work closely with third party software teams to identify engineering dependencies of the program and document them. Set clear expectations and track the dependencies closely with third parties where applicable
- Create artifacts and establish the execution framework, say agile scrum ceremonies for day to day program management
- Providing regular and timely updates to stakeholders including senior leadership on program status; ensure risks are monitored, managed and mitigated from time to time. Demonstrate ability to apply processes where needed. e.g. use change management process for changing scope or timelines
- Ensure that products are delivered on time meeting the relevant metrics criteria established by the group
- Ensure project documentation is taken up on a regular basis
- Contribute to roadmap planning exercise and use prior experience to help identify potential challenges
- As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for program management of large and complex software initiatives of the company
- You will collaborate closely with partners across our engineering, product, design, quality assurance, operations and platform teams to establish program plans and drive the program through all stages of the software development and release
- You will be responsible for ensuring alignment among the cross functional teams and ensure that the project plans are executed effectively meeting customer commitments
- You will act as a bridge between the software development team and product managers and enable collaboration for coming up with a detailed program plan taking cross functional, internal and external dependencies into consideration
- In addition to the above, you will also contribute to the PMO (Program Management Office) efforts of the company for standardization of processes and tools for continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional credentials like PMI PMP, ACP, CSM will be a plus
- Experience with fintech platforms, cloud platforms(AWS), Docker, and Kubernetes would be a plus
