Technical Project Manager

Summary

Join RSI Security as a Technical Project Manager and lead cybersecurity and risk management projects. You will manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with security regulations. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define project objectives and mitigate security risks. Present project updates and act as the main client contact. This remote, full-time position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5+ years of technical project management experience. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in technical project management
• Strong communication and client-facing skills

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of cybersecurity and risk management projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budgets
• Work with internal teams and external clients to define project objectives, deliverables, and security requirements
• Manage project schedules, resources, and tasks using project management methodologies, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of cybersecurity services
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales and the technical advisory and consulting team to execute projects aligned with security best practices
• Ensure projects comply with cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, such as PCI, SOC 2, NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA/HITRUST, and ISO 27001
• Identify potential security risks and collaborate with technical teams to develop mitigation strategies
• Prepare and present project status updates and risk assessments to both internal stakeholders and external clients
• Act as the main point of contact for client engagements, addressing their cybersecurity needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Cybersecurity or Information Security experience
• PMP, CISM, CISSP, or similar project management and security certifications
• Experience in project management software
• Experience with Asana or Mavenlink/Kantata
