Summary
Join SupportYourApp as a Technical Support Engineer in a remote position. Responsibilities include troubleshooting customer issues, examining log files, communicating with customers, managing escalated issues, creating reusable self-education assets, utilizing Python and Pandas, documenting customer issues, and identifying gaps in knowledge base. Requirements include excellent English skills, 2-5 years of experience in technical support or related roles, proficiency in Python and Pandas, strong problem-solving skills, a personal laptop with at least 8GB RAM and a stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps–download and 40 Mbps–upload). Additional qualifications include experience in sustainability or a passion for climate change initiatives. Requirements
- Excellent English skills (at least C1 for both spoken and written)
- 2-5 years of experience in technical support, data engineering, or related roles
- Proficiency in Python, Pandas, and other data engineering tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Personal laptop or computer (at least 8Gb of RAM) and a stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps–download and 40 Mbps–upload)
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of customer issues, triage, troubleshoot, and resolve them efficiently
- Examine log files and customer data to determine the root cause of issues
- Communicate with customers via email, video conferencing, online chat, and other systems
- Manage escalated issues and ensure timely communication with customers
- Create reusable self-education assets for customers
- Utilize Python, Pandas, and other data engineering tools to support customer data needs
- Document customer issues with logs and analysis, and escalate them to the product and development teams
- Identify gaps in the knowledge base and customer-facing documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in sustainability or a passion for climate change initiatives is a plus
