Summary

Join Experian's D2C Analytics team as a Technical Writer, reporting to the Director of Software Development. You will define and submit analytics requirements for new projects and enhancements, collaborating with stakeholders across various teams. Responsibilities include converting analytics requirements into user stories, working with technology teams on prioritization and clarification, conducting UAT, creating and submitting defects, and maintaining project statuses. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of experience writing technical requirements/user stories, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), and experience writing clear requirements for complex scenarios. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, enterprise analytics tools, and QA testing is essential. Requirements

  • You have 2 or more years of professional work experience writing technical requirements/user stories
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
  • You have experience writing clear, easy-to-understand requirements for complex scenarios
  • Knowledgeable of Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with enterprise analytics reporting and visualization tools
  • Experience with QA testing websites

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Analytics team leads to define analytics requirements for new product features of Experian's consumer-facing websites and native mobile apps to meet reporting needs
  • Convert analytics requirements into user stories to submit to Technology teams
  • Work with Technology teams to prioritize, groom, and clarify requirements
  • Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of stories, validating that the stories' conditions have been met and that data is flowing into event tables as expected
  • Create and submit defects to Technology teams and work with them to resolve bugs
  • Maintain statuses of projects in progress and ensure that analytics interests are on track
