Summary

The Training and Talent Development Associate will coordinate and facilitate various training programs, create digital learning assets, evaluate training effectiveness, and maintain the LMS. The role requires 3 years of Administration, Human Resources, or Training & Development experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of Administration, Human Resources, or Training & Development experience required
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications in training and development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proven ability manages multiple priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality a must

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics, materials and the schedule for training events, new hire orientation, employee onboarding and workshop
  • Facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions using effective adult learning principles
  • Create digital learning assets such as graphics, videos, gifs, and documents
  • Send engagement surveys post-training and schedule long-range check-ins post-hire
  • Assist in the evaluation of training effectiveness and suggest improvement including focus groups and low-level needs analysis
  • Maintain and upload new users to the Learning Management System (LMS) and manage employee accounts in collaboration with HRIS data. Provide baseline navigation to LMS users as needed
  • Provide data analysis and metrics on engagement data from the Learning Management System (LMS) and LinkedIn Learning platforms
  • Support the implementation of talent development strategies and initiatives
  • Collaborate with Communications to market course offerings (LinkedIn Learning, Newsletter Drafts, and copywriting)

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of property and casualty insurance is a plus
