Training & Talent Development Associate, United States
Summary
The Training and Talent Development Associate will coordinate and facilitate various training programs, create digital learning assets, evaluate training effectiveness, and maintain the LMS. The role requires 3 years of Administration, Human Resources, or Training & Development experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of Administration, Human Resources, or Training & Development experience required
- Willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications in training and development
- Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proven ability manages multiple priorities
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Ability to maintain confidentiality a must
Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics, materials and the schedule for training events, new hire orientation, employee onboarding and workshop
- Facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions using effective adult learning principles
- Create digital learning assets such as graphics, videos, gifs, and documents
- Send engagement surveys post-training and schedule long-range check-ins post-hire
- Assist in the evaluation of training effectiveness and suggest improvement including focus groups and low-level needs analysis
- Maintain and upload new users to the Learning Management System (LMS) and manage employee accounts in collaboration with HRIS data. Provide baseline navigation to LMS users as needed
- Provide data analysis and metrics on engagement data from the Learning Management System (LMS) and LinkedIn Learning platforms
- Support the implementation of talent development strategies and initiatives
- Collaborate with Communications to market course offerings (LinkedIn Learning, Newsletter Drafts, and copywriting)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of property and casualty insurance is a plus
