Summary
Join our team as a Travel Services Coordinator and play a key role in delivering major brand ticketing and travel programmes around the globe. This is a remote role with some travel to our Gloucester Office, working on flight allocations and fare ticketing with major worldwide airlines.
Requirements
- Have previous experience booking group flights, and coordinating group bookings
- Have experience dealing with high volumes of email and call requests, processing complex travel bookings
- Have excellent Worldwide travel knowledge
- Be proficient in using travel booking systems, including use of a GDS (Galileo)
- Have experience in fare build and the ticketing and reissuing of tickets
- Be computer literate with experience of Microsoft office
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Have the ability to work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectives
- Have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Be well organised and quick to prioritise workload
- Have the ability to think logically and consider all relevant aspects with strong analytical skills
- Be flexible with the ability to prioritise tasks in line with business objectives
- Have the ability to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate travel products (flights), focusing on contracts and allocations, adhering to terms and conditions and commitment and payment terms of each supplier
- Process multiple fare constructions in Global Distribution System (GDS) β Galileo, on both individual and group bookings
- Ability to issue, refund and reissue flight tickets through GDS (Galileo)
- Quoting and arranging travel requirements domestically and internationally for individual and group travel requests utilising GDS (Galileo)
- Creation of all necessary operational paperwork (airline requirements, flight manifests etc.)
- Assist when required with ad-hoc travel solutions for flight, rail and accommodation requests, analysing and researching best fares and routings with diligence checks on recommend suppliers
- Liaising with internal departments and suppliers regarding requests and queries for potential and confirmed bookings
- Co-ordinate incoming travel enquires and bookings
- Act as a primary contact for suppliers and clients, ensuring they receive excellent customer service
- Reconcile all financial activity, pre, during and post event
- Travel to Australia to assist with operational delivery (approximately 4-6 weeks in duration, in July/August 2025)
- Assist with out of hours support if required (additional details available at interview)
- Assist with any other duties as reasonably required
