Join Salsify, a leading commerce infrastructure company, as a UX Manager or Sr. UX Manager to lead a global team of designers. You will manage a team of five UX designers, ensuring new functionality meets business and user goals, reporting to the VP of User Experience. The role involves collaborating with engineering and product management to drive innovative projects. You will focus on outcomes, leadership, cross-functional collaboration, UX strategy, research and design operations, and data-driven design. The ideal candidate enjoys designing for complex B2B applications, leading distributed teams, articulating design decisions, working cross-functionally, advocating for user needs, and maintaining a design system. Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX designers in Portugal and the US
- Partner with Directors of Engineering and Product Management to lead the Growth Group in the R&D organization
- Define and drive UX best practices, ensuring a seamless, user-centered design experience
- Implement efficient processes and tools to support a distributed design team that recruits its own users for the research it conducts
- Leverage data, research, and user feedback to demonstrate that design decisions are improving the user experience and driving business impact
- Manage a team of five UX designers and ensuring that the new functionality we release meets both business and user goals
