Requirements

  • Solid foundation in influencer marketing with strong influencer relationships and networks
  • Experience with influencer ID, negotiation and activation management
  • Proven ability to lead projects, communicate effectively, think strategically and build of-the-moment and future-forward collaborations
  • Skilled in motivating teammates and helping them grow
  • In touch with cultural and industry trends
  • Ability to “roll with it” and be nimble when there are changes to pathways and needs to counsel on pivots
  • Ability to command a room and get stakeholder buy-in from multiple channels
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Experience managing a team of 3-4 direct reports
  • Is self-directed, motivated, takes ownership of projects and follows them through to the end. Knows how to manage up to get what they need to succeed
  • Established and growing network of relationships with influencer agents, managers, etc
  • Proven experience with Influencer Marketing and up to date on trends, best practices and innovations
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital culture, is a versatile writer, clear communicator, and engaging presenter

Responsibilities

  • Be a thought-leader and critical-thinker for clients and agency; meaningfully contributing to integrated marketing strategies – translating client’s brand objectives into successful influencer-led programs
  • Lead end-to-end influencer procurement process from influencer recommendations to negotiations to servicing the partnerships
  • Vet and use social tools and technologies with a solid understanding of the paid social as well as influencer social analytics
  • Attend regularly scheduled client meetings (zoom or in-person) representing the team, owning the agenda and sharing recaps
  • Lead Influencer strategy across accounts; develop strategic recommendations and sell-in major culture-forward programming
  • Serve as a trusted voice and advisor to clients
  • Day-to-day management of collaborations and partnerships
  • Proactively report on competitive brand and trends to client
  • Strengthen relations with and bring relevant tastemakers, brand partners and influencers into the fold of brands on an programmatic and ad hoc basis
  • Report on competitive brand and lifestyle trends to clients; demonstrate ability to be nimble and develop one-of-a-kind “ways in” for brands harnessing these trends
