Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role, preferably within the SaaS or nonprofit sector
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing partnerships that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions
- Experience leading and mentoring teams to achieve ambitious goals
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a strategic plan for building and managing partnerships that grow Virtuous's subscription revenue and market reach
- Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with key players in the nonprofit sector, including other SaaS providers, fundraising consultants, agencies and service providers
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to drive engagement, collaboration, and mutual success
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, CX and product teams to align partnership initiatives with business objectives and ensure effective execution
- Conduct market research to identify trends and potential partnership opportunities, staying informed about the competitive landscape
- Establish clear KPIs to measure the success of partnerships and continuously optimize strategies based on data-driven insights
- Represent Virtuous at industry conferences and events, sharing insights on partnerships and the nonprofit technology landscape
- Lead and grow a high-performing partnerships team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Travel in market 40% to drive in person partner awareness, QBRs and in person events to drive pipeline
