Video Game Translator

Summary

Join our Testronic Localization Team as an English into Spanish (Latin America) Linguist to translate texts related to video games, proofread and edit work of other linguists, and occasionally translate marketing and legal texts. Native speaker competency in LATAM Spanish and fluency in English are required, along with translation experience of at least 1 year in the gaming industry.

Requirements

• Native speaker competency in LATAM Spanish
• Fluency in English in writing and speaking
• Translation experience of at least 1 year in gaming industry
• Keen eye for linguistic and cultural nuances
• Enthusiasm for video games
• Ability to issue invoices
• Freelance registration

Responsibilities

• Efficiently translate texts related to video games: Both full-titles and game updates
• Proofread and edit work of other linguists to ensure the text maintains best translation standards
• Occasionally translate marketing and legal texts related to video games

Preferred Qualifications

Additional translation experience related to subtitles is very welcomed
