Join Redpanda, a fast-growing streaming data platform company, as their Vice President of Enterprise Sales. Reporting to the CRO, you will lead and scale the global enterprise sales organization, exceeding revenue targets and ensuring exceptional customer outcomes. This critical leadership role demands extensive experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams within technical enterprise software, ideally in cloud-native or data infrastructure sectors. You will define sales strategies, implement go-to-market plans, and cultivate relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers at Fortune 1000 companies. The position requires a proven track record of success in enterprise software sales, exceeding quotas, and scaling teams. Redpanda offers a remote-first work environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise software sales leadership experience, with a track record of exceeding quotas and scaling teams
- Proven experience selling complex, technical products to enterprise buyers (e.g., CIOs, VPs of Engineering, Architects)
- Strong analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence product roadmap and GTM initiatives
- Willingness to travel as needed
Responsibilities
- Lead and expand Redpandaβs enterprise sales team across regions and verticals
- Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for enterprise accounts
- Develop and implement scalable sales processes, KPIs, and forecasting methodologies
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to align enterprise GTM strategy
- Cultivate relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers at Fortune 1000 companies
- Establish a metrics-driven sales culture with clear accountability and transparency
- Drive strategic deals from inception to close, especially in key target verticals like finance, media, and security
- Hire, mentor, and retain world-class sales talent to support aggressive growth targets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both early-stage startups and scaling post-Series B+ organizations is preferred
- Background in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or developer platforms
- Familiarity with open-source business models and developer-first sales motions
- Experience expanding into international markets
Benefits
- U.S. base salary range for this role is $200,000, not including bonus and/or commission
