Summary
Join Garner, a rapidly growing healthcare company, as their VP of Business Development! Partner with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales, and Alliances/Partnerships teams to build and grow a center of excellence for outreach to brokers, consultants, and key employer personas. This fully remote role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and involves building and growing a high-performing Business Development Representative team, exceeding new meeting and pipeline generation targets, and improving Garnerโs brand reputation. You will institutionalize outbound excellence, understand the addressable market, and design territories to maximize productivity. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience leading BDR/SDR teams in a B2B SaaS environment, demonstrated success scaling a global BDR/SDR organization, and a deep understanding of modern prospecting technology and best practices. Garner offers a competitive salary ($231,000 - $265,000), equity incentives, and benefits including flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision plans, 401(k), and Teladoc.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading BDR/SDR teams in a B2B SaaS or similar high-growth environment
- Demonstrated success scaling a global BDR/SDR org while maintaining โฅ 100% quota attainment
- A deep understanding of modern prospecting technology and best practices
- Experience building an ABM-style outreach motion into Enterprise-sized organizations
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a team of world-class Business Development Representatives while supporting their career growth with an eye toward maximizing team efficiency
- Institutionalize outbound excellence at Garner by defining key workflows, setting the bar for what great messaging looks like, understanding the pain of our key personas, and leveraging a concert of channels to maximize connections
- Exceed new meeting and pipeline generation targets and advocate for the resources your team needs to continually grow productivity
- Build a hierarchy of team metrics that creates a clear picture of team performance and supports easy inspection of individual team member performance, diagnosis of underperformance, and forecasting of future performance
- Understand the addressable market, track key contacts, and design territories to maximize productivity and capacity
- Improve Garnerโs brand reputation by continuously raising the bar on prospect experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience reaching CHRO, CFO, and Benefit Leader personas is highly preferred
