Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in the cloud computing industry
- Extensive knowledge of the major cloud service providers and their ecosystems (AWS and GCP), including their products, services, and partner programs
- Experience selling Data, ML Services built upon AWS, GCP, Snowflake or DataBricks
- Knowledge of AI, GenAI and recent advancement in AI field
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and technical decision-makers
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences
- Closed at least 5 seven-figure contracts with new accounts
- Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding sales goals
- Ability to negotiate contracts, deliverables and price
- Experience developing sales proposals
- Great verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve ambitious goals
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market share
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key players in the cloud services industry, including AWS and GCP
- Lead the development and implementation of go-to-market strategies for new services, leveraging AWS, GCP, Snowflake capabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and aligning our solutions to address them effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and sales to drive successful product launches and achieve business objectives
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
- Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
