Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in the cloud computing industry
  • Extensive knowledge of the major cloud service providers and their ecosystems (AWS and GCP), including their products, services, and partner programs
  • Experience selling Data, ML Services built upon AWS, GCP, Snowflake or DataBricks
  • Knowledge of AI, GenAI and recent advancement in AI field
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and technical decision-makers
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences
  • Closed at least 5 seven-figure contracts with new accounts
  • Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to negotiate contracts, deliverables and price
  • Experience developing sales proposals
  • Great verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve ambitious goals
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market share
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key players in the cloud services industry, including AWS and GCP
  • Lead the development and implementation of go-to-market strategies for new services, leveraging AWS, GCP, Snowflake capabilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and aligning our solutions to address them effectively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and sales to drive successful product launches and achieve business objectives
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
