Requirements

  • Proven experience as Senior IT Manager or similar managerial role
  • 10+ years of diverse problem solving experience, such as in a management consultancy or in other generalist problem solving environments, ideally in technology but not essential
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • A strong strategic and business mindset
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field; MSc/MA will be preferred

Responsibilities

  • Set objectives and strategies for IT, Security, and Data Analytics
  • Work across these areas in order to select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits
  • Grow 6 core ICT department business areas (Internal Systems, Access Administration, Data Analytics, CyberSecurity, Business Continuity, IT Helpdesk) to achieve organizational goals
  • Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience
  • Support IOG business ongoing and future transformation projects as required by offering agile solutions based on IT, cybersecurity and data analytics strategy
  • Drive the evaluation, deployment, and management of the IO system architecture and make decisions on current and future IT systems
  • Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization
  • Serve as leading subject matter expert to all levels of our organization; maintain strong external networks and awareness to help inform the business internally of developing IT systems, tools and processes
  • Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance
  • Direct and organize IT-related projects
  • Oversee network operations for IOG and interconnected networks
  • Continually learn and develop expertise across a spectrum of areas as you work with various functions, businesses and technology topics
  • Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage
  • Be customer zero for IO product features that enable an IT organization
