Summary

Join AchieveIt as the Vice President of Marketing and lead our high-performing marketing team. You will be responsible for developing and executing the full-funnel marketing strategy, driving revenue growth, and building a strong brand presence. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Engagement, and Product teams to create a unified marketing approach. This role requires a strategic, data-driven leader with experience in B2B and public sector markets. You will oversee performance marketing, brand management, content creation, and team development. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is obsessed with performance metrics and business impact. Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including experience at a B2B SaaS company; startup-to-scale experience preferred
  • Proven track record of building and scaling marketing functions that deliver measurable pipeline and revenue growth in B2B and B2G markets
  • Deep expertise in demand generation and digital marketing with technical fluency in marketing technologies (e.g., CMS, web analytics, SEO, Salesforce, Pardot)
  • Strong experience in product marketing, messaging development, and competitive positioning
  • Skilled at managing and growing teams, budgets, and agency/vendor relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or similar experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a modern, integrated marketing strategy that drives pipeline generation, market presence, and customer engagement
  • Align marketing goals with company objectives to ensure measurable contribution to growth, retention, and customer lifetime value
  • Serve as the internal and external voice of the AchieveIt brand—ensuring messaging is compelling, differentiated, and consistent across all channels
  • Work closely with executive leadership to position the company for long-term category leadership
  • Build and lead demand generation strategies that fuel top-of-funnel growth and accelerate the sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with Sales and RevOps to optimize campaign effectiveness, lead scoring, funnel conversion, and attribution
  • Oversee performance marketing, including digital and paid media, with a strong focus on ROI and CAC optimization
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify high-performing tactics and scale effective channels
  • Partner with the Customer Engagement team to drive NRR through personalized communications, strategic upsell initiatives, and curated moments of customer delight
  • Expand our Field Marketing presence, ensuring AchieveIt reaches the right customers and prospects through events, public engagement, and more
  • Support and execute a scalable Partner Marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with key industry partners to drive awareness, demand, and joint revenue impact
  • Own the company’s brand strategy, visual identity, and messaging architecture
  • Lead product marketing efforts to translate platform capabilities into differentiated positioning, sales enablement materials, and go-to-market strategies
  • Build compelling content programs that support each stage of the buyer journey and reinforce AchieveIt’s thought leadership
  • Hire, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team across demand generation, product marketing, content, and brand
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and data-driven culture that values experimentation, learning, and accountability
  • Establish scalable systems and processes to support growth and efficiency across the function
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategy and messaging
  • Implement voice-of-customer programs, surveys, and feedback loops to uncover insights that guide campaign development and product positioning
  • Support pricing, packaging, and segmentation strategies in partnership with Product and Revenue teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the strategic planning and strategy execution market is preferred
  • Drives GTM strategies tied to pipeline and revenue growth; adapts across products and segments
  • Owns the full lead lifecycle (MQL to ARR) with deep demand gen, campaign, and spend optimization expertise
  • Scales B2B marketing through growth stages ($10M–$50M+ ARR); builds teams from startup to scale; from ~5 to larger, high-functioning departments
  • Experienced in enterprise and government marketing; skilled in complex buying cycles and stakeholder alignment
  • Strong product marketing foundation; crafts compelling positioning and messaging across solutions, including GovTech
  • Metrics-driven decision-maker; uses KPIs, attribution, and insights to prioritize and maximize ROI
  • Builds trusted, cross-functional partnerships across Sales, Product, RevOps to align GTM efforts and accelerate results
  • Inspires and grows high-performing teams through vision, accountability, and mentorship
  • Within 3 Months: Build relationships across teams, assess current marketing performance, define key priorities, and deliver a 12-month strategy plan tied to revenue goals
  • Within 6 Months: Launch impactful integrated campaigns, increase inbound pipeline velocity, and deliver improved MQL-to-SQL conversion rates
  • Within 12 Months: Build a scalable marketing engine, significantly increase brand awareness, and drive sustainable pipeline growth that supports company revenue targets
