VP, Project Delivery

Summary

Join Designed Conveyor Systems (DCS) as the VP of Project Delivery and lead the organization's project delivery functions, including project management, site management, quality assurance, and safety management. Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to ensure successful execution of all DCS projects. Collaborate with DCS Leadership and teams across the company. Develop and execute overall Project Delivery strategies, lead sub-functional teams, and engage in the sales process. Report on departmental performance and research industry trends to enhance DCS' strategies. Innovate and evaluate organizational performance to identify areas of opportunity and adapt. This role requires a servant leadership approach and strong communication skills.

Requirements

You have 10 or more years of experience working in and leading project delivery and teams

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization’s Project Delivery operations, including project management, project coordination, and program management
• Continue to develop and execute the organization’s overall Project Delivery strategies
• Lead all the Project Delivery Team’s sub-function personnel and ensure the career and skill development of your sub-functional teams
• Engage in the sales process with all pre-contract functions to ensure that implementation plans are created currently and that all appropriate costs are included in the bidding process
• Be responsible for the reporting of your departments to ensure that organizational leadership is informed and confident regarding the delivery of projects
• Research industry news and trends and enhance DCS’ strategies and incorporate when advantageous
• Innovate when possible to lead the industry
• Evaluate organizational performance data to identify areas of opportunity and adapt

Preferred Qualifications

• You may have a Master’s Degree in a related field
• You are excited to build and grow the DCS Project Delivery Team
• You’re able to deliver results in fast-paced and high-stress environments

• You have excellent communication skills and you’re able to work well with clients, management, and multidisciplined teams
• You’re a self-motivated performer who can execute with minimum supervision and guidance
• You’re a creative problem-solver who can manage multiple complex tasks and projects at a time
• You are proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
