VP, Technical Program Management

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering leadership, or product development, with 7+ years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of leading large-scale programs in a SaaS or software development environment, managing cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of engineering operations and how to drive alignment with business objectives
• Strong experience in managing distributed teams and global resources to optimize program execution and ensure engineering consistency
• Proven experience in scaling engineering operations in a global organization, ideally within the SaaS or technology sector
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, with experience in managing large-scale programs
• Experience in implementing program governance, risk management, and performance measurement across multiple teams and organizations
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong leadership and executive presence, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategy across engineering, product, and business teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)

Responsibilities

• Drive executive-level decisions to ensure delivery across large, complex programs involving multiple cross-functional teams, from inception to deliveries
• Establish clear success criteria and KPIs for program delivery, ensuring that deadlines, quality, and stakeholder expectations are met
• Track latest developments in program management technologies, including the use of AI capabilities to extend best practices for program delivery
• Support and optimize engineering operations across a global team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and global expansion strategies
• Lead the optimizing of global resources, ensuring that teams across different geographies collaborate efficiently
• Ensure global teams work effectively together, overcoming geographic and operational challenges
• Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration across the engineering organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SaaS product development or enterprise software
• Knowledge of multi-cloud architectures, large-scale SaaS infrastructure, and integration with third-party services
• Experience in sales enablement technology or other customer-driven platforms a plus
