Summary
Join Forge as a Web & Performance Manager and own the development and growth of forgeglobal.com. You will be responsible for enhancing website performance, user experience, and conversion rates through data-driven decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of SEO, CRO, and web analytics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience and alignment with business goals. The position is remote but requires residency in the Denver, CO area. The annual salary range is $130,000-$145,000 plus bonus.
Requirements
- 5+ years of web experience at fast-growing companies, owning a website performance number
- 4+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization, web optimization, or related field leveraging A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other testing methodologies
- Experience overhauling website from look and feel, navigation, to signup flow (revamping websites to growth)
- Cross-functional collaboration with technical team including developers, designers, and analytics to scope out requirements for new pages with appropriate tracking in place
- Ability to manage align senior stakeholders' expectations and align people and resources to deliver optimum results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proficiency at writing and editing including headlines, descriptions, CTAs, etc
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time in an office or home office setting while working
- Role will be remote in Denver, CO (You must be located in Denver area to be considered for the role)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement continuous effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve our website's visibility on major search engines / generative search engines (GEO) and drive organic traffic
- Monitoring, analysis and reporting utilizing web analytics tools to track website performance and user behavior, to identify areas of opportunity, generate reports and actionable insights
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in visitor conversion rates, design and run A/B tests, and implement results to continually enhance site performance. Embrace an "always be testing" mentality to ensure ongoing optimization
- Develop and implement strategies for web personalization to deliver tailored experiences to users based on their persona, behavior and preferences, increasing engagement and satisfaction
- Manage website operations with a focus on CMS management, including timely content updates, performance monitoring, and maintaining an up-to-date site and web pages. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and product teams to ensure site reliability, a seamless user experience, and alignment with broader business goals
- Utilize web analytics tools to monitor and report on web performance metrics, including campaign URL tracking, and make data-driven decisions to optimize user engagement and site performance
- Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience for visitors, effectively balancing content presentation, usability, and functionality
- Work closely with the web production and web development teams to implement changes and improvements quickly and efficiently, with a bias toward action
- Regularly communicate web performance updates, insights, and improvements to the marketing organization, ensuring alignment and transparency in our strategies and outcomes. As a great communicator, convey complex information clearly and effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in UX web design or product management
- Experience with the specific web analytics and testing tools we use: Google Analytics, Heap Analytics, Hotjar, Jira, Segment, Looker, and LaunchDarkly
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing channels
- Experience building websites for professional investors β VCs, Hedge Funds, Private Equity firms, B2B companies
