Requirements

  • Understanding of networking and security concepts
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Current or past software development experience in JavaScript frameworks like Next.js and API technologies like GraphQL is a plus
  • Prior experience managing a web development team is a plus
  • Experience using Jira to manage sprints
  • Understanding of UX, UI, and usability
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proactive and can-do attitude, ability to multitask
  • Flexible schedule β€” ability to work across time zones
  • Good understanding of website performance metrics

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the team's performance
  • Oversight of the development process
  • Act as a product manager and Scrum master
  • Liaison between your team, upper management, and various stakeholders like Marketing and Sales
  • Create and manage a roadmap for the website
  • Validate business requirements and organize effective feedback cycles
  • Document requirements
  • Work closely with website Designer(s) to provide development input and check that best practices are being followed
  • Lead SCRUM meetings
  • Supervise and delegate duties to the development team
  • Take ownership of the project and drive the software development process through all stages of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Manage the specification, planning, progress, status updates, and delivery of the software product
  • Work with DevOps to go live with the developed features
  • Promote a culture of quality
