Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in web tracking and tagging, with a deep understanding of industry best practices
  • Strong command of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with the ability to write clean and efficient code
  • Extensive experience with Google Analytics (Universal Analytics and GA4) and Adobe Analytics, including tag management systems (GTM and Adobe Launch)
  • Solid understanding of data layer concepts and implementation, ensuring data consistency and accessibility
  • Familiarity with consent management platforms (e.g., OneTrust CMP) and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve tracking discrepancies and data anomalies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and implementation of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), ensuring a seamless transition from our existing analytics platform
  • Design, develop, and maintain a robust tracking and tagging infrastructure across our web properties, utilizing Google Tag Manager (GTM) for both client-side and server-side tagging
  • Define and implement a comprehensive data layer to capture key user interactions and website events, ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Explore and implement server-side tagging solutions using Cloud Run to enhance data accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide support and maintenance for our legacy Adobe Analytics tracking setup, ensuring continuity during the GA4 migration
  • Contribute to the technical design and implementation of web tracking solutions across our new e-commerce platform and other web applications
  • Implement and manage consent mechanisms for data collection, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations using OneTrust CMP
  • Manage and implement third-party tags and pixels, including marketing and advertising tracking solutions
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of tracking implementations to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Create meaningful reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights
