Summary

Join Abnormal Security as a Senior Business Systems Engineer to lead and manage the daily operations and continuous improvement of our Workday platform. Requirements

  • 5+ years managing Workday platforms, including configuration and deployment across multiple modules (e.g., Core HCM, Payroll, Advanced Compensation)
  • Strong understanding of Workday integrations, reporting, and security frameworks
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve system issues and implement scalable solutions
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in leading projects, managing timelines, and delivering high-quality results
  • Solid experience in maintaining data integrity and ensuring system compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for the Workday platform, ensuring its effective use across HR, payroll, finance, and other integrated systems
  • Partner with HR, finance, IT, and other business units to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and implement solutions that align with business goals
  • Lead the configuration of Workday modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Absence Management, Benefits, and Advanced Compensation, ensuring the system is optimized for usability and scalability
  • Oversee integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and compliance with business processes
  • Analyze and improve current Workday processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and enhanced efficiency
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
  • Develop and deliver training materials for users while providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for the Workday platform
  • Collaborate with Workday and third-party vendors to resolve issues and deploy updates. Manage day to day service performance of third-party support and development teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday Extend or Studio for advanced customizations
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
  • Workday Pro Certification in key modules (e.g., HCM, Integrations)
  • Experience working in a high-growth or fast-paced environment
  • Experience with additional enterprise HR platforms and their integration with Workday
