Requirements
- 7+ years crushing quota in enterprise SaaS sales, ideally with CMS/publishing technology experience
- Deep familiarity with media business models, digital transformation challenges, and industry procurement processes
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-million dollar sales cycles from prospecting to close
Responsibilities
- Drive Significant Revenue Impact
- Build and manage a pipeline focused on the media & entertainment vertical
- Close both strategic seven-figure enterprise deals and high-velocity transactional opportunities
- Consistently exceed quota
- Become a Strategic Partner
- Establish yourself as the go-to technology advisor for C-suite media executives
- Navigate complex procurement processes, RFPs, and multi-stakeholder decision cycles
- Transform prospects into long-term strategic partnerships that expand year-over-year
- Shape Market Strategy
- Generate your own pipeline through creative, high-impact outbound strategies
- Collaborate with our world-class SDR and marketing teams to amplify market presence
- Provide customer insights that directly influence our product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
- Elevate the Category
- Position WordPress VIP as the definitive enterprise publishing platform
- Share expertise at industry events and with internal teams
- Mentor team members and contribute to our high-performance sales culture
Preferred Qualifications
- You’ve sold into media & entertainment organizations and understand their unique operational constraints
- You’re comfortable presenting to C-suite executives and managing stakeholder-heavy decision processes
- You have experience with RFPs, media contracts, and compliance requirements that would make most sellers run
- You’re energized by ambiguity and building something from the ground up
- You see technology as a strategic enabler, not just a product to sell
- You’re motivated by both individual achievement and team success
