Summary

Join Canvs as an Account Executive and drive new business and expansion opportunities, reporting to the Director of Growth. You will manage the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects and generating leads to closing deals and nurturing customer relationships. This role requires outbound calling, securing new clients, expanding existing accounts, and leveraging internal resources for successful deal closures. You will educate customers, develop presentations, negotiate deals, and forecast sales activity. Collaboration with internal teams to refine product messaging and go-to-market strategies is also expected. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing; advanced degree in business or its equivalent is desirable
  • Strong experience with Enterprise Sales in a SaaS organization
  • Experience selling into research, insights and marketing teams at B2C brands
  • Demonstrate exceptional discovery and presentation skills through superior product and competitive knowledge
  • A proven record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills to support interaction with clients, team members and management
  • Proven self-starter and thought leader with innate curiosity and aptitude
  • Strong negotiating and written and verbal communication skills
  • 25 – 35% travel
  • Ability to perform all the above according to applicable security and privacy best practices while staying up to date with ever-evolving standards in the industry

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect and drive outbound calling and sourcing of new clients and opportunities as well as respond to inbound inquiries
  • Secure new logos and expand existing customer relationships
  • Identify, pursue, and expand revenue by navigating cross-functional, cross-sell opportunities to maximize growth and scale revenue within a named book of business against a defined growth target
  • Effectively leverage internal resources such as CEO, CRO, Marketing and Product to navigate an opportunity from prospecting, through qualification and successful close
  • Educate potential customers on our product through tailored demos and consultations without a sales engineer present
  • Develop effective presentations, generating specific deal proposals and supporting clients through negotiation and closing/signing process
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers to accelerate deal velocity
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in Gong and Hubspot
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine product messaging and go-to-market strategies
