Summary
Join Clerkie, a fintech startup democratizing financial wellness through AI, as an Account Executive. You will drive sales, expand our client base, and close deals. Leverage your expertise in startup, enterprise, or banking/collections sales. Collaborate with the Director of Business Operations and the broader sales team to identify new business opportunities, build relationships, and lead negotiations. Requirements
- At least 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience in enterprise SaaS
- Proven experience in sales, with a track record of success in closing deals and selling core infrastructure solutions to financial institutions
- Ability to be a good and patient thought-partner that can gather product requirements and use cases from existing and potential FI partners
- Ability to partner with the product team (PMs and Design) to put together new demos and new features in a fast pace environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and work effectively within a small team
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities (while working in tandem with SDRs) and focus on target markets and industries
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Lead negotiations and close deals effectively to meet sales targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of solutions to clients
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in startup sales within the enterprise infrastructure space for large banks and collections agencies
- Knowledge of the debt industry or a strong ability to build personal connections and close deals
- Experience in consumer and personal finance, especially at a startup
- Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM tools
- Passion for Clerkieβs mission of empowering everyday families to manage their finances and get out of debt
