Summary

Join Finalis as a highly motivated Account Executive – Venture Sales Segment to lead our expansion into two strategic investment banking segments. You will play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and converting high-value customers, leading a team to drive rapid growth. You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and be responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market strategy, managing the sales lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role also involves pipeline generation, customer relationship building, team development, and market intelligence gathering. Requirements

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in B2B sales leadership, preferably within SaaS, fintech, or investment banking sectors
  • Track record of exceeding aggressive growth targets and scaling customer bases rapidly
  • Strong understanding of investment banking workflows, compliance challenges, and deal origination processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to 10x our customer base in the two identified investment banking segments within a year
  • Own the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring a data-driven and results-focused approach
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, and Customer Success) to align efforts and maximize growth opportunities
  • Drive pipeline growth through proactive outreach, leveraging existing networks, referrals, and inbound opportunities
  • Implement scalable sales processes, ensuring efficient tracking of leads and opportunities via CRM systems
  • Use data insights to refine sales strategies and optimize conversion rates
  • Deeply understand the needs and pain points of target customer segments, positioning Finalis as the go-to compliance and deal execution partner
  • Foster relationships with key decision-makers to drive long-term partnerships and account expansion
  • Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor within the investment banking ecosystem
  • Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious targets
  • Set clear goals and provide ongoing coaching to maximize performance and professional growth
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-first thinking
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales tactics and messaging
  • Provide actionable feedback to the product and marketing teams to ensure offerings align with market demands
