Summary
Join Grafana Labs' Velocity Sales team as a Velocity Account Executive and spearhead the growth of Grafana Cloud by converting monthly customers to annual contracts. You will own the full sales cycle, leverage data-driven insights, and expertly convey Grafana Cloud's value. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine messaging and enhance the customer journey. Contribute to team improvement by sharing best practices and process enhancements. Manage quote creation, order processing, and customer requests while consistently exceeding sales objectives. Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in software sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets in a competitive environment
- Results driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, drive deals forward, and deliver measurable results
- Excellent communication skills across all channels (in person, online, in writing) with the ability to build strong working relationships both in person and virtually
- Strong interest in observability, PLG, and technical sales
- Self-starter mentality, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments where innovation and execution matter
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the growth & adoption of Grafana Cloud by converting our month-to-month customers into long-term, high-value annual contracts
- Own the full sales cycle from identifying opportunities to closing deals, ensuring customer success along the way
- Leverage data-driven insights to proactively engage customers and position the long-term value of Grafana cloud
- Expertly convey the value of Grafana Cloud and differentiation between our Self-Serve and Contracted options
- Partner with cross functional teams to refine messaging, improve product, and enhance the customer journey
- Shape the future of the team by contributing best practices, sales playbooks, and process improvements as we build
- Manage quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests
- Consistently meet and exceed sales objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce, Gong, Quoting tools, and Zoominfo
- Familiarity with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC sales methodologies
