Summary
Join Wherescape's growing sales team as an experienced sales professional. You will be responsible for selling data infrastructure automation software. Key responsibilities include identifying new sales opportunities, generating revenue, maintaining customer relationships, and providing sales updates. The ideal candidate possesses a BA/BS degree, 1-3 years of relevant sales experience, and a successful track record in enterprise software sales. Experience in the UK and Benelux markets and knowledge of Big Data and related technologies are preferred. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree is a must
- 1-3 years of relevant sales/ business development experience preferably in software sales
- Successful sales experience with enterprise software
- Successful track record as a new logo salesperson (demonstrating over-achievement of personal targets/goals)
- Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles involving pre-sales
- Strong skills in communication, negotiation, organization and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Identify new sales opportunities using enabled qualifying skills and tactics supported by a structured sales process
- Generate revenue from new and existing customers in assigned territory
- Establish and maintain good rapport and customer support to existing customers
- Provide continuous verbal and written updates on forecast, opportunity pipeline and territory plan
- Exercise judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Possess thorough knowledge of company and products/services
- Be able to present the value proposition to all levels within the organization
- Qualify a high volume of prospects in and out of the opportunity pipeline
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to UK and Benelux markets is preferred
- Experience and understanding of the Big Data, Data Integration, Application Integration, and Business Intelligence markets. Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Database and/or Business Intelligence software products and concepts
- Work experience in both an early stage and a large organization β an advantage
- Good network of existing senior executive contacts within enterprises in the respective territory
- Demonstrated ability to present effectively and to sell to a technical solution
