Summary

Join Instructure's high-performing Latin American sales team as an experienced sales executive. You will focus on cross-selling and upselling Instructure's product portfolio to existing Canvas users, primarily universities. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, meeting sales quotas, collaborating with other teams, and delivering product demonstrations. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of sales experience, and fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Experience in higher education, EdTech, and enterprise software sales is preferred. Instructure offers a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience, Account Management and/or Business Development
  • Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese

Responsibilities

  • Introduce and upsell, cross-sell Instructure products to current clients
  • Develop sales strategies to increase pipeline
  • Consistently meet/exceed sales quota
  • Work closely with the customer success & renewals team to provide a cohesive experience for Canvas customers
  • Collaborate with other members of our sales teams on territory plans and quarterly business reviews
  • Deliver web based presentations and product demonstrations
  • Provide education and training about Canvas products & services
  • Extensive use of Salesforce to document activities and maintain an accurate forecast

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Higher Education institutions, Professional Learning or in EdTech
  • Experience selling enterprise level software, SaaS sales and services - (LMS specific experience a plus)
  • Experience selling at all levels
  • Excellent strategic/consultative sales skills
  • Ability to do detailed needs analysis and proposal development
  • Expertise in developing and executing channel partner strategies
  • Proven ability to close high-value deals and consistently overachieve sales targets
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to navigate complex business environments and manage cross-cultural teams
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering impactful solutions
