Summary

Join Lucid Software as a New Logo Account Executive (AE) and drive strategic business growth for new Lucidchart, Lucidspark, and Lucidscale SMB customers. You will work directly with potential and existing customers to create business value, close sales opportunities, and expand Lucid adoption. Responsibilities include effectively closing business, building relationships, providing excellent customer service, and creating reliable sales forecasts. You will become an expert in Lucid's value propositions and target markets, while maintaining a collaborative team mentality. Meeting team standards for activity, accountability, and internal SLAs is crucial. This role requires a minimum of one year of sales closing experience in a similar role, preferably in SaaS/tech, along with experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM. The position is based in Melbourne, Australia, requiring on-site presence twice a week.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year sales closing experience (as an Account Executive, or similar role), preferably in SaaS/tech
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work in the Australian HQ in Melbourne, Australia, twice a week

Responsibilities

  • Effectively be able to close business, prospect, and build personal relationships with a book of accounts
  • Able to provide excellent customer service and upkeep of existing clientele while identifying strategic opportunities to expand Lucid adoption
  • Displays a strong β€œout of the box” thinking approach to improve best practices around outbound prospecting and pipeline generation
  • Create and maintain reliable forecasts that create transparency between your pipeline and the management team
  • Become an expert in our value propositions, target market, and target personas
  • Develop a mentality of Teamwork Over Ego, seeking opportunities to help others and lead out critical initiatives
  • Meet team standards around activity, accountability, and internal cross-functional SLAs
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with software sales (prospecting & closing)
  • Experience with Salesforce, leads, contacts, and opportunities
  • Maintaining clean Salesforce hygiene
  • Ability to manage a large number of prospects and opportunities simultaneously
  • Experience with Outreach or similar workflow software
  • Skilled in selling a product against direct and indirect competitors
  • BA/BS degree
