Summary
Join Lyssn.io, a leading provider of AI-powered software for behavioral healthcare and human services, as a remote Account Executive. You will focus on selling cloud-based solutions to state and local government agencies in child welfare. Requirements
- 8-10 years of sales experience, with at least 4 years selling technology solutions to state and local government agencies
- Proven track record of success in enterprise sales, preferably within the public sector
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. You must be comfortable presenting to stakeholders across the entire government organization hierarchy
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and other sales enablement tools
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals within your assigned territory
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, leveraging CRM tools to track opportunities, activities, and forecasts
- Engage with prospective customers in a consultative sales capacity to align our products, recommendations, and use cases with their unique challenges and requirements. Must be competent at pitching, negotiating, and closing
- Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers, including agency directors, program managers, IT leaders, and procurement officials
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to craft compelling proposals and SOWs
- Work closely with marketing, product, customer success, and sales to execute go-to-market strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience
- Stay informed about trends, challenges, and regulatory changes within the child welfare and government sectors to position Lyssn as a trusted advisor
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS or in the child welfare domain
- Bachelorβs degree in business, public administration, social work, or a related field
- Strong understanding of (competitive and non-competitive) state and local government purchasing and decision-making roles
- Exemplary teamwork and collaboration skills
- Understanding of large-scale EBP implementations and evaluations, including activities such as fidelity monitoring. Knowledge of implementation science, change management, or FFPSA legislation, a plus
Benefits
- Base plus commission and bonus potential. The OTE range is $190,000 to $210,000, based on several factors, such as experience and domain expertise
