Summary

Join Matik as an Account Executive and drive the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, focusing on acquiring new customers. You will collaborate with a Sales Development Representative and the Go-to-Market team to promote Matik, manage sales pipelines, guide customer evaluations, negotiate contracts, and secure new business. This role requires a proven track record of success in SaaS sales, exceeding quotas, and strong communication skills. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of SaaS sales experience or other relevant closing experience
  • Track record of consistently hitting and exceeding quota
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative, coachable, and results-driven

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the full sales cycle, from generation to close, with a primary focus on net new customer acquisition
  • Partner closely with a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and the broader Go-to-Market team
  • Evangelize Matik
  • Generate and manage pipeline
  • Drive customer evaluations
  • Lead contract negotiations
  • Close new business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling SaaS solutions to Customer Success and Salespeople
  • Experience with either Sandler, SPIN, Challenger, Command of the Message, or Winning by Design SaaS sales methodologies
  • Experience selling data, BI, or visualization/technical products
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Prior experience as a Sales Development Representative
