Summary

Join OfferUp as an Account Executive and play a key role in expanding our business offerings to auto dealers and local businesses nationwide. You will make a significant contribution to customer satisfaction and overall company success. This entry-level position offers a chance to learn, grow, and shape sales strategies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role involves high-volume outbound calling to secure new business, providing excellent customer service, and leveraging our technology for efficient outreach. You will collaborate with other teams and report on sales activities. Compensation includes a base salary, variable bonus, equity, and sales incentives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of setting appointments and/or selling subscription marketing/advertising services over the phone is valued
  • 1-2 years of SDR, BDR or Inside Sales experience with a tech company serving online and brick-and-mortar customers
  • Competitive drive, optimism, and confidence
  • Demonstrated proficiency in prospecting and hunting for new clients
  • Resourceful and adaptable, and can identify creative solutions that may not be โ€œhow it is doneโ€ in this space
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Make 50-60 calls a day (+ 60 minutes of talk time) to secure new business by selling licensed businesses the OfferUp Business and/or OfferUp Verified Dealer Programs
  • Provide exemplary customer service to all customers
  • Research and prospect new customers in targeted territories
  • Discover the path to successfully selling to various businesses in various targeted categories (including but not limited to autos, furniture, electronics, etc.)
  • Leverage our tech stack for accurate reporting, discovering opportunities in your process, and efficient outreach to target many businesses
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Business Operations to ensure the learnings from customers are incorporated into the overall business direction
  • Lead, track, and report on all prospecting activity and results in our CRM (Salesforce.com)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a short sales cycle is preferred
