Summary
Join Pondurance as a remote Account Executive to drive net-new business acquisition. You will generate revenue by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new customers. This high-impact role requires 2+ years of technology/cybersecurity sales experience. As a strategic thinker and skilled communicator, you will deliver tailored security solutions, build client relationships, and consistently exceed sales quotas. You will manage the full sales cycle, utilize sales tools, and maintain a strong understanding of Pondurance solutions and the competitive landscape. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, and thrives in a remote environment.
Requirements
- Proficient in CRM systems like Salesforce and other modern sales tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of proven success in full-cycle B2B sales, consistently meeting or exceeding performance targets
- Deep understanding of the full sales cycle, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing strategies
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of thriving in a remote, autonomous work environment
- Strategic thinker with strong planning, execution, and problem-solving skills; able to make sound decisions under pressure
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, with a track record of clear and accurate reporting and information sharing
- Open to feedback, adaptable to change, and committed to continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Dedicated to contributing to a collaborative, service-oriented company culture
- Proactive in identifying and implementing process and system improvements
Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities to drive consistent pipeline growth
- Cultivate and expand channel and partner relationships to generate leads and maximize impact
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
- Plan and participate in sales events, presentations, and partner enablement activities to boost visibility and engagement
- Deliver compelling online and in-person presentations, effectively communicating Pondurance’s cybersecurity solutions
- Establish clear expectations and partner with internal teams to anticipate and resolve issues, ensuring smooth transitions and consistently high customer satisfaction
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial discovery through to close
- Deliver accurate forecasts and pipeline reports using Salesforce, Gong, and other key sales tools
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Pondurance solutions and a strong understanding of the competitive landscape
- Stay informed on emerging industry trends and cybersecurity challenges that impact prospective clients
- Contribute to a collaborative, service-driven company culture while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cybersecurity or the broader technology sector preferred
