Summary

Join Quartzy as a dynamic Account Executive to drive new business growth by acquiring and closing new logos. This role, ideal for a sales professional thriving in fast-paced environments, involves prospecting, qualifying, and closing new accounts in life sciences and biotech. You will help researchers streamline lab operations using Quartzy's innovative solutions. This 100% distributed role can be performed anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, and collaborating with various teams. The position requires a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and experience in consultative selling.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SaaS sales closing experience
  • Proven track record of achieving/overachieving quota
  • Experience in closing New Logos
  • Mid-Market/SMB Sales experience
  • Proven track record of achieving/overachieving against company sales quotas
  • A results-driven sales professional with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quotas
  • A hunter mindset, energized by building relationships and creating new opportunities
  • Skilled in consultative and value-based selling, with the ability to navigate complex buying processes
  • Strong communicator who can engage C-level executives and key stakeholders
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce, Outreach, etc.) and leveraging data to optimize sales strategies

Responsibilities

  • New Business Acquisition – Identify, prospect, and engage potential customers to expand Quartzy’s footprint
  • Full Sales Cycle Management – Own the end-to-end sales process from outreach to close, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Consultative Selling – Understand customer pain points and articulate the value of Quartzy’s solutions to decision-makers
  • Pipeline Development – Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound efforts, referrals, and strategic outreach
  • Collaboration – Work cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation
  • Market Insights – Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape to position Quartzy effectively in the market

  • $75,000 - $90,000 a year
  • The total on target earnings for this role will be in the range of $120,000 to $155,000
  • All regular full-time employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program, excluding sales who are eligible for performance based variable sales incentives
