Summary

Join SAM Labs, an award-winning EdTech startup, as an Account Executive and help empower the next generation of problem solvers. Based remotely in Texas, you will drive revenue growth by engaging schools and districts, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and converting leads into long-term partnerships. This role requires frequent travel (up to 50%) to visit schools and districts. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue targets, optimizing the sales process, and contributing to the team's collective knowledge. Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the K12 education or EdTech industry, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to clearly articulate the value of our products to educators and administrators
  • Ability to sell in person, and over phone/video is required
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by engaging schools and districts throughout your territory
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers and build a pipeline of opportunities, converting them into successful, long-term partnerships
  • Generate leads by connecting with schools and districts across Texas, exploring new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships
  • Assess leads based on their budget, decision-making authority, needs, and timeline to ensure a smooth sales process
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets, acquiring new school customers while benefiting from uncapped commission potential
  • Confidently pitch and close deals virtually and in-person, engaging key decision-makers at both the school and district levels
  • Optimize the sales process through diligent pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting, ensuring consistent progress toward targets
  • Share insights and successes with the broader team, contributing to our collective knowledge and improving our sales strategies

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as an educator or in a similar role within the education sector
