Summary

Join SmartAsset's Account Executive team, a group of 50+ sales professionals, and contribute to the growth of our fast-growing client base. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new clients, providing detailed information about SmartAsset's platform, and closing deals. You will need 1-3 years of full sales cycle experience and strong communication skills. The role requires comfort with high-volume sales, cold outreach, and meeting monthly quotas. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of full sales cycle experience and/or in a Sales Development role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • Experience in an inside sales, cold calling, transactional sales role
  • Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Comfortable speaking to and persuading prospective clients on the phone and making 100+ calls per day

Responsibilities

  • Comfortability working in a high volume activity/sales environment and being on monthly quotas
  • Identifying and developing potential new clients through prospecting and cold outreach
  • Providing detailed information to prospective customers and educating them on the features and benefits of SmartAsset’s platform
  • Having a consultative approach with clients by understanding their business needs, explaining ROI and having a strong closing approach
  • Owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing
  • Becoming an expert in the financial advisor industry to better help identify strong advisor prospects who will be a good fit for the Smart Advisor platform
  • Collaborating with company leadership to vet and research different strategies for generating more revenue. Operating with a high level of integrity and able work within organizational Rules of Engagement
  • Staying organized, maintaining contacts and outreach in Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications

  • Attention to detail; excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • Salesforce experience preferred but not required
  • Team player who possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
