Requirements

  • 1-3 years of full sales cycle experience and/or in a Sales Development role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • Experience in an inside sales, cold calling, transactional sales role
  • Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Comfort speaking to and persuading prospective clients on the phone and making 100+ calls per day

Responsibilities

  • Work comfortably in a high volume activity/sales environment and meet monthly quotas
  • Identify and develop potential new clients through prospecting and cold outreach
  • Provide detailed information to prospective customers and educate them on the features and benefits of SmartAsset’s platform
  • Take a consultative approach with clients by understanding their business needs, explaining ROI and having a strong closing approach
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing
  • Become an expert in the financial advisor industry to better help identify strong advisor prospects who will be a good fit for the Smart Advisor platform
  • Collaborate with company leadership to vet and research different strategies for generating more revenue. Operate with a high level of integrity and work within organizational Rules of Engagement
  • Stay organized, maintain contacts and outreach in Salesforce
