Requirements

  • 3-5 years successful B2B technology sales to small business. Legal or Home Services preferred
  • Experience closing deals in the $3K-$25K MRR range
  • Prior usage of MEDDICC and relevant sales methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Through a consultative sales approach, identify buyer motivations and position the value of Smith.ai's technology and services to small and medium-sized businesses
  • Effectively and continually develop and manage a sales pipeline to achieve targets
  • Map client organizations and build relationships with multiple contacts
  • Research and identify opportunities in new verticals; collaborate with our marketing team and various leaders to help define go-to-market strategy and messaging
  • Articulate Smith.ai’s value proposition and product differentiation to prospects
  • Manage a strategic sales process by cultivating relationships with multiple decision-makers and managing internal partnerships
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Collaborate and leverage Smith.ai subject matter experts to drive value to your prospects and clients
  • Effectively communicate with prospects and customers through multiple channels including email, phone, and Zoom
  • Continuously gain product knowledge and contribute to Smith.ai’s ongoing improvements of products, operations, and teams

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in growth stage startups ($20M-$100M) preferred

  • Base salary that ranges between $65,000 - $75,000 per year
