Summary
Join Sprout Social's Sales team as an Account Executive, Velocity, focusing on generating new revenue by acquiring new small to mid-size customers. You will drive new business, manage pipelines, and utilize solution-based selling to understand customer needs. Close collaboration with your team and Solutions Engineers is crucial to solve customer problems and move them through the sales funnel. Success in this role requires a strong track record in B2B sales, experience with CRM platforms, and exceptional communication skills. Requirements
- 6 months + experience in an outbound closing role in B2B sales or relevant experience
- Consistent track record of success
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM platform
Responsibilities
- Drive new business in our Velocity segment by converting our prospective clients into customers
- Generate monthly and quarterly pipeline coverage of high-potential prospective users from inbound leads and outbound prospecting
- Use solution based value selling to understand customer needs through detailed discovery calls, and communicate the value proposition with product demonstrations and proposals
- Partner closely with your team, manager and Solutions Engineer to solve complex customer problems, position the best solution and move customers through the funnel
- Own your own numbers; take responsibility for your activity levels, conversion rates, RPS to ensure that you are a top performer
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of closing experience in B2B sales
- Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills - phone, email and webinar
- Technical expertise and ability to acquire knowledge of new products
