Summary
Join Sprout Social's Sales & Success team as an Account Executive, SMB Growth, and accelerate your career by selling and supporting their leading social media management platform. You will generate new business from existing clients, identify upselling opportunities, and partner with the Account Management team. The role involves prospecting, developing, and closing new sales opportunities within the largest prospects in the upsell segment. You'll need 6+ months of outbound closing sales experience, Salesforce experience, and a consistent track record of success. Requirements
- 6+ months of outbound closing sales experience or relevant experience
- Experience working with Salesforce
- Consistent track record of success in recent roles
Responsibilities
- Generate new business from existing clients and serve as their product specialist
- Identify opportunities for upselling and increase individual account values
- Partner closely with our Account Management team, who will transfer qualified opportunities into your book of business
- Prospect, develop and close new sales opportunities within the largest prospects in our upsell segment
Preferred Qualifications
- Closing experience in B2B sales, social media experience is a plus
- Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills - phone, email and webinar
- Technical expertise and ability to acquire knowledge of new products
