Summary
Join Sprout Social's Revenue Partnerships team as an Account Executive, Alliances, and play a key role in amplifying the company's brand and driving revenue through strategic partnerships. You will leverage your network to source new business opportunities, manage relationships within the Salesforce ecosystem, and ensure seamless collaboration between Sprout Social and Salesforce teams. This role requires strong sales and account management experience, a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, and a proven track record of success in building and nurturing partnerships.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales or account management experience
- 2+ years working within the Salesforce Partner ecosystem as or with an ISV partner, with System Implementation partners, or both
- Consistent and measurable track record of success
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams and individuals
Responsibilities
- Use your network to source and generate new business through our Salesforce partnership
- Perform business development activities to generate net-new leads
- Respond to inbound referral inquiries by referring them to the appropriate Sprout Social AEs. Ensure that leads are adequately qualified for seamless handoff. Track and follow opportunities to close
- Create and deliver presentations both internally and externally on the value of our teamโs working together; surface feedback on how our messaging resonates with Salesforce sellers
- Develop a deep understanding of Salesforceโs internal structure, goals, and challenges with a constant eye towards ecosystem growth
- Analyze account data and share insights both internally and externally, as applicable
- Ensure the highest level of partner and customer satisfaction
- Build an internal CRM of Salesforce AEs who participate in deal referrals to Sprout. Enable them so they can evangelize Sprout Social to their customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to the Retail & Consumer Goods industry
- Familiarity and comfort with the value that the Salesforce platform provides to customers
- Strong operations and detailed account management experience (you know the anatomy of a deal and are comfortable diving into the details)
- Self-directed and proactive approach to work - adept at working in highly-dynamic environments
- Comfortable working with Salesforce reporting and digging into data
- Strong presentation skills with an eye for detail and design
