Summary
Join StackAdapt, a leading self-serve advertising platform, as an Account Executive specializing in the political and advocacy vertical. Reporting to the Political Sales Director, you will be responsible for growing existing business and securing new programmatic advertising revenue. This role blends sales activities with customer relationship management, requiring strong political media experience and a deep understanding of campaign goals and KPIs. You will collaborate closely with Account Managers to develop and implement effective campaign strategies. StackAdapt is a remote-first company, offering flexibility and a supportive work environment. This position is open to candidates located anywhere in the US.
Requirements
- Digital political advertising sales experience - programmatic is a plus!
- Experience working with political & advocacy campaigns with strong understanding of common goals and KPIs and exposure to political media solutions across data, measurement and attribution
- Entrepreneur mindset to seek and win new business
- Experience utilizing various CRM tools to build a robust pipeline and ensured ongoing client satisfaction, renewal and opportunity discovery
- Experience building client pitch decks (and the associated research) to close new business
- Track record of success in a quota carrying environment
- Ability to grasp and communicate technical concepts and platform-based knowledge to executive level prospects
- Willing to travel to meet with clients within their region
Responsibilities
- Identify, pitch, and close platform sales deals with political, public affairs, and government media buyers
- Work closely with management/product teams to get products specified and built
- Manage existing client relations and seek account growth opportunities
- Work with your dedicated StackAdapt Account Manager to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new campaign strategies and solutions to clients, and building strong relationships
