Requirements

• 1-2 years of PR agency experience
• Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, journalism or similar focus
• Passionate about startups and working directly with founders
• Organized & adaptable, able to manage multiple projects and respond quickly to new situations
• A creative chameleon who can flex their storytelling muscle across industries
• Brilliant writing skills
• Self-starter with strong work ethic
• Proficiency in media reporting tools i.e. Cision, MuckRack, etc

Responsibilities

• Drive media results through outreach and creative/proactive story ideation
• Develop first drafts of materials needed for client campaigns - pitches, briefing documents, media lists, blogs, etc
• Source and support execution of client speaking engagements, awards, etc
• Conduct industry, competitor and client research
• Participate in client meetings with account teams to communicate PR program efforts
• Assist in the management of results reporting
