Summary

Join Seismic, a boutique marketing agency specializing in high-performance influencer marketing, as an Account Executive. Initially, you'll spend 3+ months learning internal processes and managing existing accounts. You'll then transition to outside sales, building relationships with brand partners, understanding their needs, and developing effective campaigns. Proactive networking to attract new brands will be a key responsibility. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, empathy, and the ability to manage expectations. The position offers a competitive base salary, bonus eligibility, and a remote-friendly work environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales, prospecting, or account management in the marketing, advertising, or social media space with a knowledge of social platforms, creators and the influencer media space preferred
  • Experience managing expectations in an influencer agency or talent management company or other middleman business where a two-sided transaction (ie selling to both brands and creators) is required
  • The ability to quickly develop relationships with key stakeholders through empathetic listening and client service

Responsibilities

  • Forge and build relationships with Brand partners, growing their business within the agency
  • Learn to deeply understand client needs and translate those needs into effective campaigns in collaboration with our Talent and Campaign Planning team
  • Proactively network to attract new brands (following your three month onboarding period)
  • Negotiate budgets and deadlines and manage expectations both internally and externally
  • Be responsible for distributing detailed campaign performance reports to brands
  • Have the relationship building skills and the EQ to understand the uniquely different objectives of brands and creators and be able to empathize with and manage both effectively
  • Understand the value and the mindset to successfully developing strong and long-term client relationship

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with high profile creators and a deep knowledge of creator content is ideal
