Requirements
- 2-5 years of technical sales experience in CPaaS, SaaS, Cloud, AI, IoT, or data-focused verticals
- Strong record of quota-crushing performance across a variety of sales motions (transactional, consultative, and enterprise)
- Demonstrated ability to sell across multiple segments (SMB to Enterprise) with both short- and long-cycle deals
- Experience selling to technical audiences (developers, product teams, CTOs) and business decision makers (CIOs, CFOs, COOs)
- Solid understanding of modern sales frameworks (SPIN, GAP, Challenger, MEDDPICC)
- Hunter mentality with a passion for outbound, lead gen, and proactive relationship-building
- Exceptional communication skills and executive presence β you inspire confidence and bring clarity to complex topics
- Proven ability to educate customers on emerging technologies, especially AI-driven innovations in voice automation and speech intelligence
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from sourcing to close across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments
- Sell Telnyxβs comprehensive portfolio, including programmable voice, messaging, wireless, global SIP trunking, elastic cloud connectivity, IoT eSIMs, and our expanding Voice AI solutions
- Engage both technical and business stakeholders to understand their goals and tailor scalable solutions that create measurable ROI
- Partner with our Solutions Engineering team to deliver impactful demos, Proofs of Concept, and bespoke architectures
- Build and maintain a healthy, self-managed sales pipeline using data-driven strategies and tools
- Consistently meet and exceed quota expectations while forecasting accurately
- Drive customer value through a consultative, strategic approach β guiding them through evolving communication needs
- Represent Telnyx at industry events, webinars, and conferences to evangelize our platform and uncover new opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in selling CPaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, or telco-grade infrastructure
- Experience with AI-enabled voice technologies, virtual agents, conversational analytics, or speech-to-text NLP solutions
- Previous success navigating Fortune 500 sales cycles including RFPs, security reviews, and C-level stakeholder alignment
- Track record in building relationships within developer ecosystems or API-first platforms
