Summary
Join Tridge Pay, an innovative trade escrow service, as an Account Executive to lead client acquisition. You will identify and onboard new global clients, develop strategies to expand Tridge Pay's network, and educate clients on the benefits of digital escrow. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience and represent Tridge Pay at industry events. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience in commodities trading or trade finance, in-depth understanding of the bulk commodities trading industry, and strong networking skills. The position is remote and a 1-year contract (renewable based on performance). Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales or business development experience in commodities trading or related trade finance solutions
- Relevant experience in global/emerging market trading desks, structured finance, or trade finance
- In-depth understanding of the bulk commodities trading industry, including market structure and characteristics of key product categories such as energy (e.g., crude oil, coal, LNG), agricultural bulk (e.g., grains, sugar, soybeans), and metals & minerals (e.g., iron ore, copper, aluminum)
- Proven experience in building and maintaining networks with various industry stakeholders (brokers, traders, suppliers, financial institutions, etc.)
- Strong ability to analyze market trends, price drivers, and changes in the global economy and regulations
- Active participation in industry networking activities such as conferences, seminars, and associations
- Strong capability in identifying new business opportunities and developing partnerships
- Trust-based communication skills with clients and partners
Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and onboard new global clients (traders, brokers) from the key target industry ย to the Tridge Pay platform
- Develop and execute strategies to expand Tridge Payสผs global network, focusing on high-potential markets and key industry verticals
- Educate prospects and clients on the benefits of digital escrow and Tridge Payโs unique value proposition compared to traditional banking solutions
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations teams to deliver a seamless client experience and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Represent Tridge Pay at industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and inform business strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in bulk commodities trading, with a strong understanding of market structures and the distinct characteristics of major products including grains, coals, and base metals
- Relevant experience in global/emerging market trading desks, structured finance, or trade finance
- Proven experience in building and maintaining networks with various industry stakeholders (brokers, traders, suppliers, financial institutions, etc.)
- Existing network in commodities in agri-trade sectors
